Poem about Sharing Life

Share Life’s Load

Find a protector, a guardian.

Someone to help you, to take you in.

Give up your life to her or to him.

Everything has it’s cost, you’ll not win.

Be own man, woman, if you prefer.

Be independent, that is the cure.

Being alone, sounds lonely, that’s sure.

This also has a  cost you’ll incur.

Maybe it’s balance we should look for.

Sharing the load, for all life’s fervor.

Being together, two, three, or four.

Friends to help you, then you help them more.

Life won’t constantly be worry free

With the good, you’ll find difficulty.

Balance the bad with your love for me.

In return, I give you mine for free.
