Patient’s Patience

In my bed, waiting.

Sickness, not abating.

X-ray’s need be read.

Doctors, not yet to my bed

Spend night in despair.

Procedure failed, now where

Is help?  It’s after hours.

Poor patient, me.  Patience sours.
